Customer Service Week is often a time for businesses to celebrate their teams and thank their clients. We are no different, but we take it a step further. We usually take this opportunity to reflect on what our clients have taught us about service and what they define as exceptional service.

Working with HNWI, business executives, diplomats, and International guests, we are privy to a wide range of individuals from vastly different environments. Among all our clients, some common themes come up when discussing great, professional service.

Customer Service Requires Need Anticipation

The most redundant and constant lesson that we see across the board is that clients appreciate it when we anticipate their needs. This is not about being all-knowing and telling them what to do. It's about looking at the type of service they are requesting from us and, based on our years in service, anticipating what additional services they would need or what could go wrong.

Cases where clients are requesting chauffeur service for the first time require us to provide knowledge-based decisions that will allow them to have the best experience. This involves understanding their needs and suggesting the best solution for them.

When hiring a chauffeur-driven car, clients prefer not to think about the details during their experience.

Building Trust

Most of our clients require a certain level of privacy due to their line of work. Letting us into their world and informing us about their whereabouts and movements requires a high level of trust. This is why we take privacy very seriously, as in some cases it is a matter of life and death.

Building trust cannot be done through word of mouth. It takes constant and consistent reassurance in the way you address the clients, serve them, and conduct yourself as a chauffeur. Being reliable throughout their experience shows them that they can count on you, further building trust.

This can be a vehicle arriving when expected, a chauffeur having alternative routes when experiencing unexpected traffic, or communicating effectively in case there is an unexpected change. These may sound like simple things, but they become especially important when a client's schedule is full and every minute matters.

Etiquette and the Working Relationship

An important aspect of any relationship is respect. A functional relationship cannot exist without recognizing the importance of a person's role. Whether it's a chauffeur addressing a client or a client addressing a chauffeur, there needs to be a certain level of respect to build a good working relationship.

Chauffeurs should be courteous, respectful, and attentive while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries at all times. This includes greeting clients appropriately, assisting with luggage, opening doors when appropriate, using respectful language, and addressing clients in a manner suited to the occasion.

Professionally, a conversation should be guided by the client. The chauffeur should then anticipate when discretion and privacy are preferred. A professional chauffeur should never be intrusive, overly familiar, or engage in sensitive conversations. Every interaction should leave the client feeling respected, comfortable, and well cared for.

It's all about the Details

A well-prepared vehicle, a professional greeting, knowing a client's itinerary, or having an alternative vehicle on standby in case a change is needed are all details that clients appreciate and reinforce that they are working with exceptional service providers.

Most of these details might go unnoticed, but when a client reflects on their experience, they are what stands out. The details shape how a client remembers their overall experience.

This is especially noticeable at the beginning of a client-chauffeur interaction. The initial encounter lays the groundwork for their experience, and a positive first impression can minimize future conflicts, as it establishes that unexpected situations are exceptions rather than the rule.

Thank You To Our Clients

Customer service is an ongoing process that evolves with every interaction. Feedback from clients helps us recognize what is effective, where improvements are needed, and what is most important to those who depend on us for their transportation needs.

As our services expand, our comprehension of client expectations for an executive chauffeur experience also deepens. Your feedback is crucial in this process. If you have traveled with Lesus Executive, we would appreciate your feedback in helping us serve you better. Kindly leave us a review and let us know where we can improve. Leave us a review here
